SSH

The SSH menu implements a secure connection to the IPBRICKs shell, showed in Figure 7.72.

The SSH (Secure Shell) is similar to the known Telnet application but more secure because of the protocol SSL used.

Note: This function needs the installation of Java Virtual Machine. The software is available in www.java.com. After the connection it's necessary to make an authentication. Therefore, you'll need to input the following data:

• Username: operator;
• Password: L1opardo.

After that first authentication, you can enter su to login as superuser;
