Configuration of a VPN SSL Connection (Open VPN)

To create a VPN connection (Open VPN) in a Windows XP Professional workstation it is necessary to install the Open VPN GUI software::

• Open VPN - VPN Open Source Pack;
• Open VPN GUI - Graphic Interface for Open VPN.

The installation of this pack should be executed without changing the default definitions. This software is installed in directory C:\Program Files\OpenVPN. The certificate generated by IPBrick must be unpacked into directory C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config.

To initiate VPN connection, press the right button on icon OpenVPN in the toolbar, choose the intended connection and press Connect.

Insert the password used to create the certificate in IPBrick and the VPN shall be established.
