Introduction

High availability (HA) is a system design protocol that garantees an operational continuity during a given period of time and is now a possibility at IPBrick, using a service called Heartbeat. The main idea is to have a clustering solution with two or more IPBricks that provides:

• Availability:
• Reliability;
• Serviceability.

Note: High Availability is available solely for VoIP and E-Mail relay services.
