To create the portable version of IPBrick's software, please follow these steps:
- Insert IPBrick's boot CD in the PC's CD-Rom Drive
- Restart the PC
- The IPBrick logo will appear. Type in this command:
ipbrick pendrive
- ! Attention !: If you don't type straight away the command listed above, IPBrick boot CD will automatically start Installation procedures and all data contained in the PC will be lost.
- Wait for the prompt to insert the USB pen.
- Insert the pen.
- Press any key.
- Please wait for the procedure to end.
- The system will unmount the pen and you can remove it.
- Remove the CD
- Press any key to reboot the PC
You'll now be able to use the pen to install IPBrick in another machine, simply configure the BIOS of that PC to boot correctly from the USB port.
